Shepard’s Tour of Balloo
What would Christmas be without a nativity? For those who aren’t feeling the more traditional version of children’s singing and, um, adorable acting, this is a nativity with a difference. On Christmas eve, you can take a walking tour through the Balloërveld, and hear the Christmas story in parts at different campfires across the route. At the end, there’s a choir around Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and a donkey.

Remember the excitement of experiencing the world of Roald Dahl as a child? Let your kids become a part of the world themselves. Top2000 Church Service
In the last week of the year, people around the country tune into the station NPO Radio 2 to hear the hottest 2000 songs of all-time 24 hours a day. This year is the 20th anniversary, so to celebrate the Noorderkerk in Nieuw Amsterdam is holding a church service with a difference. The theme of ‘trust in God’ will be illustrated with performances of pop classics such as the Black Eyed Peas, U2 and many more.
