The TopDutch Weekend Guide 15th-17th of November

It’s an exciting weekend in the TopDutch region, and across the Netherlands, as one of our most-loved characters, Sinterklaas, makes his first entrance of the year. It’s a big day in Dutch culture, but there’s loads of culture for the grown-ups too! Whether you’re in the mood for theater, music or sports, there’s so much going on to beat the winter blues.

For the theater lovers

Jonge Harten Festival

This weekend is the beginning of the nine-day theater festival ‘Jonge Harten’, which will see awe-inspiring, thought-provoking and sometimes uncomfortable performances across the city of Groningen. The young dancers, musicians and actors curate shows aimed to start conversations. Our pick for this weekend? KIJK ME? (See me?), with performances Saturday and Sunday, which brings together both deaf and hearing actors for a show about being seen and heard. You can explore their whole program here.
Where? Across the City of Groningen. When? Starting Friday 15th of November.
