The nights are drawing in, but that’s no excuse to sit at home! This week, we’ve selected our top tips to get you exploring the TopDutch region. Whether you love to dance, or prefer to watch it… whether you want to get the best ingredients for a homecooked meal, or would rather get someone more qualified to cook for you. Whatever you’re in the mood for, there’s something for you.

For the lovers

Love- Club Guy & Roni

Club Guy & Roni are a site not to be missed when they find their way to the TopDutch region. The iconic contemporary dance troupe love to push boundaries and expectations, and this year’s ‘Love’ will be no exception. Exploring the world of young love and sex in the world of FOMO, their performance, in collaboration with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani and Slagwerk Den Haag, will be both touching and humorous.

For the families

Groene Markt

A sustainable farmers market that the kids will actually enjoy? Sounds too good to be true, but it’s going on in the Rijsterbos this Sunday. Whilst you explore the wide array of sustainable, fair trade and healthy shopping, the kids can participate in activities such as archery, pumpkin carving or tree climbing. Sounds like a dream!
Where? Rijsterbos, Friesland. When? 20th of October.

For the historians

Hunebedcentrum at Dusk

It’s not quite Halloween yet, but you can get yourself in a bit of a spooky mood by traveling back in time to the prehistoric era- in the dark. For the Autumn vacation, the Hunebedcentrum is opening extra long, meaning you can walk through 150,000 years of history all in the spooky atmosphere of dusk. We hope there’s no prehistoric ghosts!
Where? Hunebdcentrum. When? 16th-23rd of October.
