THE ROLE OF LNG
LNG is short for ‘Liquefied natural gas’. When it is liquefied, it has an advantage to be transported in large quantities. In 2022, the Eemshaven of Groningen was the location where a new LNG-terminal has been set up in record pace. Today, Hans Coenen from Gasunie will discuss this process, the importance for the Netherlands about this terminal and the role of LNG in the energy transition.
