Webinar: The Future of Carbon Valorization
Carbon capture is one of the hottest topics in the sustainable transition at the moment. Even hotter is how we can then use that captured carbon into useful, circular products. This week, our friends at Wetsus are bringing together scientists from academia and industry to discuss some of the routes to effective conversion of captured carbon into chemicals, food and feed.

Repairing for Dummies
You’ve found your dream jeans, worn them until there’s a great big hole in the knee, and yet you can’t bring yourself to throw them out. Or what about that gorgeous dress hanging in the closet that doesn’t quite fit like it used to? Cut down your fashion waste, and get more out of the clothes you own by joining the textiles repairing workshop from the SDG House Groningen. Experts from Groningen Fair Fashion will bring sewing machines and materials, you bring an item of clothing you want to fix or alter, and together you’ll learn how to make do and mend. Arrive at the beginning of the 11:00 or 13:00 slots, and you can get a behind-the-scenes tour of GoudGoed too!

Kosmotroniks II
From plastic soup to adventurous art. Whether it’s a broken blow dryer or an old kitchen mixer, where most people see plastic waste, TopDutch artist sees the potential for beauty. His Kosmotroniks take a plastic item as its base, and see them re-envisioned as uninhibited, imaginative and unique new models that delights the inner-child in all of us. Until the 26th of February, the Kosmotriniks are on exhibition at the Heerenveen Museum.
